# Privacy Policy for Titrate

## Introduction

Daoyirong ("we", "our", or "us") built Titrate as a free app. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Titrate is designed with a privacy-first approach — your health data stays on your device and under your control.

## Information Collection and Use

### Data Stored on Your Device

Titrate stores the following data locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework:

- **Profile Information**: Medication name, current dose, start date, weight unit preference, height, age, reminder settings
- **Injection Logs**: Date, time, medication, dose, injection site location, and optional notes
- **Weight Logs**: Date, weight value, unit, and data source (manual entry or Apple Health)
- **Symptom Logs**: Date, severity ratings (1-5) for nausea, fatigue, constipation, diarrhea, and headache, and optional notes
- **Milestone Data**: Weight loss percentage milestones you have achieved

**This data is stored exclusively on your device.** We do not have access to it, and it is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party services.

### iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, Titrate may sync your data across your Apple devices through Apple's CloudKit service. This data is encrypted and managed by Apple according to Apple's privacy policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

### Apple Health Integration (Optional)

If you choose to enable Health Sync, Titrate may:

- **Read** from Apple Health: Body mass (weight), step count, and active energy burned
- **Write** to Apple Health: Body mass (weight entries you log in Titrate)

Health data access requires your explicit authorization. Titrate functions fully without Apple Health access. You can enable or disable Health Sync at any time in the app's Settings.

### Data We Do NOT Collect

- We do **not** collect personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
- We do **not** use analytics or crash reporting SDKs
- We do **not** use advertising frameworks or ad tracking
- We do **not** use third-party tracking services
- We do **not** require account registration or login
- We do **not** transmit any data to external servers

## Third-Party Services

Titrate does **not** integrate any third-party services that collect user data. The app uses only Apple's native frameworks:

- **Core Data** — Local data storage
- **CloudKit** — Optional iCloud sync (managed by Apple)
- **HealthKit** — Optional Apple Health integration (managed by Apple)
- **UserNotifications** — Local push notifications for injection reminders

## Data Storage and Security

- All app data is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework
- If iCloud sync is enabled, data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple's CloudKit infrastructure
- We do not operate any servers that store your personal data
- The app does not require an internet connection to function (except for optional iCloud sync)

## Data Retention

Your data remains on your device for as long as you use the app. You can delete your data at any time by:

- Deleting individual log entries within the app
- Deleting the app from your device (this removes all locally stored data)
- Managing iCloud storage through your device's Settings if iCloud sync was enabled

## Data Export

Titrate allows you to export all your data as a CSV file. This export is initiated by you and shared through your device's standard Share Sheet. We do not receive or store any exported data.

## Children's Privacy

Titrate is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since Titrate does not collect any personal information from any user, there is no risk of children's data being collected.

## Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device and we do not collect or have access to any personal data, you have complete control over your information:

- **Access**: All your data is visible within the app and can be exported as CSV
- **Correction**: You can edit or update your data at any time within the app
- **Deletion**: Delete the app to remove all data, or delete individual entries within the app
- **Portability**: Use the CSV export feature to take your data with you

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date above. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
